I took a tip to Target to see what new fall clothing they put out so you don’t have to! I grabbed a handful of pieces to try on, but will be sharing my favorites with you! I think this is the beginning of their fall collection so I will continue to keep an eye on it as they put out new stuff!
Starting off first with a pair of orange flare denim! It doesn’t get more fall than these orange pants and they were so cute on! I ended up passing on them because I already have a few rust/orange pants, but if you are in the market for orange pants these ones are amazing! I grabbed a size 8 and they fit like a dream! They are a high rise style and the fit was so comfortable. They are made of a slightly stretchy material and they have a flat leg at the bottom. They will be perfect to wear all fall long and I think they will be just as cute to throw on and go during the spring and summer months!

I paired them with this white long sleeve slim fit ribbed shirt. I grabbed this is a medium to try on and really liked it but I think a small would have fit me much better. It paired nicely with the orange denim pants when tucked in and would make a great layering piece under overalls or dresses if you are in the market for something like that! It also comes in purple, black and brown.

The next thing I tried on was this super cute ribbed sweater dress! I always love to have a sweater dress in my closet for the fall season and I thought the neckline on this one was so different and cute (you can see the neckline a bit better in the second photo)! It is a thick, comfortable material and I felt like this fit true to size. I tried it on in a medium and it was just barely oversized which is exactly how I prefer it! I thought the gray color was a great basic but this style is also available in a camel brown color. It would look great paired with sneakers or boots and can easily be layered with a vest, flannel or jacket once the weather gets cooler!

I also tried on this dress that was a completely different style than the one above! I really love this style and wanted to love it on myself but the length was a little long for my liking. If you are on the taller side I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try! I did however love the v neckline and the eyelet design of the material as well as the ruffle on the sleeve. Since it is a tank top dress it will be great to wear at the beginning of the fall season while it is warmer and you can layer it with jackets and cardigans as the season gets cooler. Overall it is a great transitional piece! Plus the rust color is perfect for fall!

Next, I threw this cardigan over the rust dress and loved this combination! This sweater is the perfect color mix for fall and was a thick and cozy knit material. It is a striped design that is a mix of navy, rust and cream and it is the perfect length to wear with jeans and a top or to wear over a dress! I was wearing a size medium in this cardigan for a more oversized fit.

The last thing I tried on was this band sweatshirt! I couldn’t pass it up when I saw it hanging on the rack. I love the black sweatshirt with the bright colored graphic on the front! I usually buy my graphic shirts and sweatshirts from Urban Outfitters and this one is such a similar look for a fraction of the price! It is a black sweatshirt with a “Black Crowes” graphic on the front. It looks cute with athletic shorts for a comfortable, sporty look but also looks great with the orange jeans I showed first for a cute, slightly more dressed up look! I sized up in this sweatshirt for a more oversized look on purpose. If you stick to your true size it will be a little loose but not oversized.

I was able to find all of these pieces in our Target and as I mentioned these are just a few of my favorite picks. I think these pieces are very versatile and you would be able to get a lot of wear out of them! All of these styles are currently available online and do come in plus size as well! I have a major love for fashion and have always loved going to stores to check out the newest pieces and trends for each season.
