I’ve always loved baking especially when the recipes are quick and easy! This banana protein muffin recipe is perfect because it uses a lot of ingredients you may already have on hand and they taste delicious! I have been making them for a few years now and everyone that tries them, loves them! I usually make these muffins during the weekend that way I have them ready to go as breakfast and snacks to eat throughout the week!

For this recipe you will need:

– 3 bananas

– 1 egg

– 1 tbs milk of choice

– 1/2 cup greek yogurt (I’ve used original and vanilla and both work great!)

– 1 tbs olive oil

– 1 tbs vanilla

– 1/4 cup honey

-1  1/2 cup flour

– 1 tsp baking soda

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I use semi sweet chocolate chips, but any kind will work! I always add a bit more than 1/2 cup of chocolate chips so add as much or as little as you’d like)

Directions:

– Preheat oven to 350°

– Whisk all ingredients together

– Either line muffin tin or spray with oil to prevent the muffins from sticking to the tray

– This recipe makes 12 muffins. Divide evenly between each muffin cup

– Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes

One of the main ingredients in this recipe is chocolate chips, but you could also substitute those for nuts, blueberries or any other additional ingredient of your choice. It would be so fun to try different additions to change it up! This recipe is easy and in total takes around 35 minutes to make! Plus it is on the healthier side and still tastes delicious! I hope you all give this a try and love it as much as I do!
