I love going to the nail salon and getting my nails done just as much as the next girl. However, I can never seem to keep up with it and I don’t love the price tag that comes with it. This has led me to try out press on nails. So far I’ve tried 3 different sets and am finally ready to give an honest review!
Each style I’ve tried is by imPRESS manicure. They are a press on manicure with a sticky adhesive on the inside. They have a large variety of lengths, styles and patterns available and you can order these nails online or pick them up at stores like Ulta, Target and Walmart. I am very rough on my nails and am currently trying to break a nail biting habit which is why I was curious to give these a try!
The first set I applied was a beautiful periwinkle color and they didn’t have a length listed on the packaging but I think they were between a short and medium length.

I applied as the instructions directed and tested them out. They did not stay on more than 3 days and I have to say I was a little bummed. I had already bought another color of this exact style because they looked great on so I was determined to give them a second chance! I had gotten some suggestions from others to use nail glue in addition to the adhesive already on the nails. I went out and bought the KISS brush on nail glue to use on the next set!

The next pair I applied were a light pink color and this time around I used the nail glue in addition to the adhesive on the nail. I was swimming in the pool almost every day and these nails stayed on for about a week. If I hadn’t been swimming I think they would have stayed on even longer! I will mention I don’t usually like my nails very long and these were a tad long for my liking.

I eventually bought a third pair in the short length to give them a try. This pair is a dark green color with a fun design on two of the nails! I also applied these using the nail glue and haven’t been swimming in the pool and these have been the best pair I’ve used thus far! I love the shorter length of this style and for the price I love that they will last between a week and a half to two weeks!

I also recently purchased a few boxes of their Halloween styles and I can’t wait to try them out! They are each so detailed, cute and festive for the fall season!
They have a ton of fun Halloween designs and lengths available, these were just my favorites!

If you love going to the nail salon regularly I say stick with it! However, if you’re like me and you don’t like the time commitment and the price tag of going to the nail salon then these nails are a great option when paired with an additional nail glue. If you don’t care to have your nails done often, but you like having your nails done for special events then I definitely recommend these for those instances! They are perfect for events or to have on hand when you need a quick fix! To sum it up… it is fun to be able to change up the color and pattern once you get sick of them. Also, in addition to basic colors they have a lot of options with intricate and fun designs on them! I think they make my nails look great and I will definitely continue to use them! I hope you all enjoyed this review and if you have any other brands of press on nails you’d recommend let me know because I’d love to give them a try!
